Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation

— also known as Physiatry — is not a familiar medical field to many people. This medical specialty focuses on the restoration of function to people with disabling conditions ranging from simple physical mobility issues to complex cognitive involvement.

We hope this Web site helps you gain a better understanding of the full range of comprehensive rehabilitation services offered by the physiatrists at Rehabilitation Medicine Associates, P.L.L.C. It describes our services and the types of conditions we treat as well as our medical training and background and information about our office hours and policies. Please do not hesitate to call us, however, if you have questions or concerns about our practice or your visit.

Where do we practice?

Our physiatrists provide consultation services at the various acute care hospitals in the Grand Rapids area, attending physician care at Mary Free Bed Rehabilitation Center, and office care in both our Grand Rapids and Byron Center locations.

Our primary office is at 3350 Eagle Park Dr NE, Suite 108, in Grand Rapids. Our building is on the north side of Leonard St., just east of East Beltline. Our satellite office is located within the Saint Mary’s Southwest Medical Center at 2373 64th Street SW in Byron Center. We are in suite 2700. The building is south of M6, just east of the Byron Center Avenue/M6 exit. If you are unfamiliar with the area and would like more specific directions, please call our office prior to your appointment.
